To fly model aircraft in Luxembourg as resident, pilot (operators) need to be registered and have an A1/A3 certificate  (A1/A3 certificate is valid 5 years, operator ID is valid 1 year). Operator ID and A1/A3 certification can be obtained free of charge.

As foreign pilot and pilot from another club, you need have an EU operator registration, insurance and you have to sign an agreement that you know the rules and limitations of the site where you intend to fly.

All pilots operating their model aircraft in Luxembourg must make their operator ID on (or in) their model.
